The Ministry of Youth and Sports announces the launch of the second edition of the competition "
The Beginning of a Dream for Community Initiatives," under the patronage of Mrs. Intissar El-Sisi, the First Lady of Egypt. The competition focuses on the following areas:
Social Field
Culture and Hobby Field
Environmental Field
AI (Artificial Intelligence) Field
Arts Field
Economic Field
Educational Field
Health Field
Sports Field
People with Disabilities Field (literal translation: "Those Able Differently")
Entrepreneurship Field
Tourism Field
This initiative aims to support existing and emerging community initiatives, highlighting their importance and empowering Egyptian youth to provide solutions to community problems. It also seeks to train young people on the significance of community work.
Competition Terms and Conditions:
The team must consist of 2-5 members, including both males and females, with one member acting as a coach/mentor. The age range should be between 18 and 40 years old.
Each initiative leader can only register one initiative. Participants in the first edition can participate again, but must present a new idea.
The initiative must have a community impact and align with one of the goals of Egypt's Vision 2030.
Winning projects will be evaluated by a committee of senior specialists. The top initiatives will advance to the final stages and participate in a training camp in preparation for the final judging.
Registration is through the competition link: (https://emys.gov.eg/emys_form/50) and requires filling in all the required data from January 1st, 2025, to March 1st, 2025. The evaluation criteria for the initiatives and ideas must be taken into account.
Competition Prizes:
Financial prizes will be awarded in the competition, totaling 375,000 EGP, distributed among (5) winners in the Initiatives track and (3) winners in the Ideas track.
