The Dean of the Faculty Participates in the Syndicate's Ceremony Honoring Professors, Graduates, and Students of Mining and Metallurgical Engineering.
Professor Dr. Khaled Salah, Dean of the Faculty, participated in the ceremony honoring professors, graduates, and students of Mining and Metallurgical Engineering, held by the General Division of Mining, Petroleum, and Metallurgical Engineering at the Assiut branch of the Engineers Syndicate on Sunday, May 17, 2026. The ceremony was held at the kind invitation of Mr. Haitham Abdel Hamid, Head of the Assiut branch of the Syndicate, and in the presence of Dr. Manal Metwally, Head of the General Division of Mining, Petroleum, and Metallurgical Engineering at the General Syndicate of Engineers; Eng. Abdullah Fathi, Treasurer of the branch; and Eng. Hazem Hassan El-Khasht, a member of the board of directors of the branch of the Mining, Petroleum, and Metallurgical Engineering Division. Several members of the General and Assiut branch councils were also in attendance.
The ceremony included the honoring of a number of faculty members, top graduates, and top students in the Mining and Metallurgical Engineering Department, in recognition of their contributions to the specialization. In his address, the Dean of the College emphasized the significant support provided by the Syndicate for student and community service activities within the college, including support for student graduation projects and ongoing communication between the college and the Syndicate. He also noted the participation of the Head of the Assiut Engineers Syndicate as a member of the College Council. The Dean expressed his gratitude to the General Division of Mining, Petroleum, and Metallurgical Engineering for honoring members of the College's Mining and Metallurgical Engineering Department.
