The Faculty of Law at Assiut University hosts an advanced training course for members of the Administrative Prosecution Office in Assiut Governorate, entitled "Investigation and Disposition Mechanisms."
Under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, the Faculty of Law hosted the advanced training course for members of the Administrative Prosecution Office in Assiut Governorate. The course, titled "Investigation and Disposition Mechanisms," was held from September 1 to 3, with the participation of 50 members of the Administrative Prosecution Office, ranging from assistant prosecutors to "excellent" prosecutors. The training course was hosted by Dr. Douib Hussein Saber, Professor of Public Law and Dean of the Faculty of Law at Assiut University, and Dr. Ragab El-Kahlawy, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law for Education and Student Affairs.
Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, stated that the Faculty of Law's hosting of the advanced training course for members of the Administrative Prosecution Office falls within the framework of the university's societal role and its commitment to supporting cooperation with various judicial bodies. He praised the fruitful cooperation with the Administrative Prosecution Office, which plays a major role in establishing the principles of truth, justice, and the preservation of public funds.
Dr. El-Minshawy emphasized that the university spares no effort in providing an integrated training and academic environment that keeps pace with the requirements of national institutions and contributes to the preparation and qualification of cadres capable of serving the nation. He explained that such training courses reflect the complementary roles of state institutions in promoting the values of integrity and transparency and achieving prompt justice.
The course was organized under the patronage of Counselor Mohamed El-Shenawy, Head of the Administrative Prosecution Authority, and was implemented by the Judicial Training Center, headed by Counselor Dr. Ayman Nabil, in cooperation with the Administrative Prosecution Consultants Club in Assiut, headed by Counselor Abdel-Wahab Nagati.
This course is part of a series of training courses held across all governorates of the Republic, presented by a select group of consultants with the aim of enhancing members' capabilities in the fields of investigation and disposition, and dealing with the most prominent practical problems they may encounter in the exercise of their judicial work. This is achieved by reviewing case studies and practical applications.
Dr. Douib Saber commended the role of the Administrative Prosecution Authority in establishing truth and justice through a well-thought-out strategy to combat financial and administrative corruption faced by the state and all its national institutions. He emphasized that the Faculty of Law is keen to consolidate ongoing cooperation with the Authority in various fields in support of this noble goal.
At the conclusion of the course, Counselor Dr. Ayman Nabil, Director of the Judicial Training Center, extended his sincere thanks to the administration of Assiut University and the Faculty of Law for their generous hospitality and support, which contributed to the success of the course. He praised the fruitful cooperation that was reflected in its distinguished organization. He also extended his appreciation to all those who contributed to the course's success, most notably Counselor Bahi El-Din Mohamed Ali Hassan, Member of the Supreme Council of the Administrative Prosecution and Director of the Disciplinary Litigation Department; Counselor Hesham Kamal Qutb, Deputy Director of the Judicial Training Center; Counselor Abdel Wahab Nagati, Director of the Technical Office in Assiut and President of the Administrative Prosecution Consultants Club in Assiut; and members of the club's board of directors; as well as Counselor Khaled Bakhit, Director of the Disciplinary Litigation Branch in Assiut. He also commended the efforts of the lecturers and their role in enriching the course content. It's worth noting that the course included lectures delivered by a select group of consultants, including: Counselor Dr. Mohamed El-Husseini, Counselor Abdel-Jalil Mohamed, Counselor Khaled Tantawi, Counselor Yasser Lotfy, Counselor Khaled Bakhit, Counselor Alaa Bahi, Counselor Hala Metwally, and Counselor Dr. Moataz El-Hilali.
