The Department of Pharmaceutical Organic Chemistry announces the third scientific seminar for the M.Sc. thesis submitted by Pharmacist/ Merette Nashaat Mina Hanna (external candidate registered in the department) to obtain the Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmaceutical Organic Chemistry).

Thesis Title:

Design, Synthesis, Biological Evaluation, and Molecular Docking Studies of New Thiadiazole-Chalcone Hybrids Linked via an Acetamide Linker as Dual Inhibitors of EGFR and VEGFR-2 Tyrosine Kinases (Part B).

Date & Venue:

The seminar will be held on Thursday, September 17, at 10:00 AM in the Department Auditorium.

Anyone wishing to submit an appeal to review the year work and practical grade for the Pharmacognosy 2 course must register their name at the department secretariat starting from Sunday, September 13, 2026, until Tuesday, September 15, 2026.

After reviewing the grievances submitted by the students for the Pharmacognosy 2 course (Pharm-D and Clinical) for the year work and practical exam, and after re-checking the grading of the exam paper to verify the marked questions and re-tallying the scores:

It was determined that no student is entitled to any additional marks.
