The college organised a visit to the dialysis unit at the university children's hospital and another visit to the South Egypt Cancer Institute.

Under the patronage of Professor Dr Ahmed El-Manshawy, President of Assiut University, and Professor Dr Ahmed Abdel-Mawla, Vice President for Education and Students' Affairs, Professor Dr Yasmin El-Kahky, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, Professor Dr Hala Salah El-Din Abdel-Sattar, Head of the Art Education Department, Professor Dr Saeed Mustafa, General Coordinator of Student Activities, and Professor Dr Doaa Abdel-Mohsen, Social Committee Advisor, the faculty organised a visit to the dialysis unit at the University Children's Hospital and another visit to the South Egypt Institute of Oncology, with participation from faculty members and their assistants, including Professor Dr Rehab Zaki, Assistant Professor of Hand Weaving in the Art Education Department, Ms Ghada Wahid, Director of Student Care at the faculty, Ms Mirehan Mohy El-Din, Teaching Assistant in Pottery at the Art Education Department, and Ms Sarah Mohamed, Demonstrator of Hand Weaving in the Art Education Department, along with our students. The Dean of the faculty expressed her sincere thanks and appreciation to all the leaders and staff at the hospital and the institute for their efforts and continued support for the patients, emphasising that the aim of these visits is part of the faculty's communication with the local community.
