Assiut University offers national education courses for female students as part of a cooperation protocol between the Ministry of Higher Education and the leadership of the Popular and Military Defense Forces. These courses aim to enhance national awareness and foster a sense of belonging among students, preparing them to face challenges that the nation may encounter, in addition to building a new generation of young women capable of taking responsibility and actively participating in the service of their country. The courses target first-year and preparatory female students for the academic year 2024-2025 and beyond, provided that the student holds Egyptian nationality. The courses will be implemented according to the announced plan by the university's military education department, without the need for direct interaction with the military education office, as coordination is done through student affairs and the designated national education coordinators from the university.Registration includes submitting a copy of the ID card and one personal photo to be handed in on the first day of the course. Additionally, regulations for exemptions and postponements have been established for specific cases, such as students with disabilities or those holding "integrated service cards."The courses include theoretical lectures held in designated halls, cultural and recreational activities, and field visits.
