The Department of Statistics, Mathematics and Insurance at the Faculty of Commerce, Assiut University, seeks to provide our undergraduate students with a highly effective learning experience and to achieve the following goals:

1.Providing distinguished academic programs for granting a bachelor’s degree in insurance, focusing on risk management and insurance in the area of ​​underwriting, pricing, and marketing of the insurance service in addition to settling claims.

2.Improving the level of research in the areas of commercial and cooperative insurance, social insurance, reinsurance and insurance mediation, in order to advance these areas and their professional practices.

3.Serving the community by providing professional training programs for practitioners and others.

4.Providing consulting services to organizations in the public and private sectors, as needed.
