The Faculty of Dentistry organizes the ninth medical and awareness caravan to provide care for children in residential care homes in Assiut.

The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the Faculty of Dentistry announces the success of the ninth medical and awareness caravan for the academic year (2025/2026).

Under the slogan “Together for Them,” the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the Faculty of Dentistry, in cooperation with the Center for Monitoring and Studying Community Problems at Assiut University, organized a medical and awareness caravan on Monday, July 13, 2026, to provide care for children residing at the Lilian Trasher orphanage homes in El-Fath Center, Assiut Governorate.

The caravan provided more than 56 children with free diagnostic services and medication, in addition to awareness services. Furthermore, 17 children who required specific treatment procedures and advanced facilities were referred to the University Dental Hospital to receive free treatment.

The caravan was honored by the visit of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Adawy, Vice President of Assiut University for Community Service and Environmental Development, who followed up on the caravan’s activities and the services provided. His Excellency praised the organization and extended his thanks and appreciation to all those responsible and the volunteers for this distinguished work.
