Virtual Instrumental (VI) Laboratory for Mechanical Department

Computer Laboratory for Electrical Department

  1. Invitational Research Program: 4-Professors were invited in South Korea and co-researched at KOREATECH University for 6-weeks.
  2. Development of Textbooks : total 8-textbooks based on the newly developed laboratories for practical learning
  3. Student Internship Program : Samsung Electronics Egypt (SEEG-Benisuef), LG Electronics Egypt (LGEEG-Cairo), Hyundai Rotem (Cairo) in total 40-students

  2. – CNC (Computerized Numerical Control) Machining Center upgrade for Mechanical Department, completed by the 2ndweek of February 2019 (planned)
  3. – CAD/CAM (Computer Aided Design & Manufacturing) Laboratory for Electrical Department, completed by the 1stweek of March 2019 (planned)
  4. Invitational Research Program : 6-Professors invited in South Korea for taking the high-technology training at KOREATECH (planning in March and April 2019).

  10. Initiating the authorization process for the Curriculum Development of Engineering, Assiut University
  11. CQI-Curriculum Development
  12. – The new task in phase III and will be extended to the last Phase is the Curriculum Development for three undergraduate academic programs at Departments of Mechanical and another three undergraduate academic programs for Electrical Engineering Department in Cooperation with Korean Project at Assiut University. This will be included the established labs at both departments as well as the feedback from the industries involved in the project activities in the 3 Phases.
  13. – To perform the new task its planned to have the following activities
  14. – Organizing extensive workshops with the Stakeholders of both Departments that include but not limited the following (Industries representatives, Seniors’ and Joiners graduates representatives, NGO representatives, public services representatives, and Academics from both departments as well as the following inputs from Assiut University.
  15. – Required materials: Recent Bylaw, NAQAA NARS and ARS, Supremum Council of Universities (SCU) roles and regulation for Curriculum Development
  16. – Multiple 3- Taskforce to prepare the venue, analysis the outputs, presentations, forms to be handled to the attendees, workshops organizations and logistics.
  17. – Expected outcomes of these workshops is clear guidelines for the Curriculum Development for the 6 undergraduate academic programs at both Departments of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
  18. However would you kindly acknowledge HE Minister of Higher Education and Research by the new task activity that is the Curriculum Development for three undergraduate academic programs at Departments of Mechanical and another three undergraduate academic programs for Electrical Engineering Department in Cooperation with Korean Project at Assiut University.
