Announcement for second-year students 2026
Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy, President of the University, and as part of the University's commitment to its community and awareness-raising role, the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the Faculty of Sports Sciences organized an awareness seminar entitled "Cyber Extortion and Methods of Protection Against It." This event was organized under the leadership of Professor Dr. Emad Samir Mahmoud, Dean of the Faculty, and supervised by Professor Dr. Yasser Hassan Hamed, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Professor Dr. Mustafa El-Sebaei, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.
This seminar stems from the importance of raising awareness about the dangers of cybercrimes, which have become one of the most prominent challenges facing society, especially given the widespread use of social media. The event aimed to educate male and female students about methods of cyber extortion, ways to prevent it, and the proper legal procedures for dealing with such situations.
The workshop was presented by Mr. Islam Atef, a lawyer at the Complaints Office of the National Council for Women's Assiut branch, and Dr. Samar Kadwani, the head of the National Council for Women's Assiut branch. They reviewed the legal and social aspects of cyber extortion crimes and explained the support and assistance available to victims.
The workshop was held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 12:00 PM in the college's discussion hall. College leaders, faculty members, staff, and students were in attendance.
The college affirms that this workshop represents an important step towards promoting a culture of digital security and building student awareness capable of using technology positively and safely, thus contributing to protecting society from cyber risks.





The second session of the Excel program was held as part of the Digital Transformation and Administrative Performance Development courses. These courses reflect the Faculty's commitment to supporting the state's efforts in digital transformation, enhancing institutional performance, and developing the skills of its administrative staff.
These courses aim to develop the technical skills of employees and improve their proficiency in using modern digital programs and applications. This contributes to improving work quality, accelerating task completion, and achieving the highest levels of accuracy and organization in administrative performance.
The course was presented by Dr. Mustafa Morsi, Consultant for Digital Transformation and Administrative Performance Development at the University. He provided a comprehensive explanation of the most important Excel tools and programs, focusing on practical applications used in daily administrative tasks. He emphasized the importance of employing modern technology in developing the administrative work system.
The course witnessed remarkable interaction from the participants, and many discussions and inquiries were raised that enriched the training content, reflecting the employees’ interest in developing their capabilities and keeping pace with the requirements of the digital age, within the framework of the college’s vision towards building an efficient and distinguished administrative apparatus.

Please bring the following:
National ID card and college ID card for the academic year 2025/2026
College-issued athletic attire (training suit, shorts, vest, athletic shoes)
Writing supplies (for lectures)
Masks and hand sanitizer, and adherence to all precautionary measures to prevent the spread of infection is mandatory.
Maintain a neat appearance and personal hygiene (shaving beard and hair).
Important Notice
Do not bring large sums of money or valuables (gold, mobile phones, etc.).
This is the student's personal responsibility. In case of loss, the camp administration is not responsible. Adherence to camp regulations is mandatory.
