Getting ready for the new school year

As part of the Faculty of Specific Education's keenness to prepare for the new academic year and to check the readiness of its various departments, Professor Dr. Yasmin Al-Kahki, the Dean of the Faculty, carried out an extensive inspection tour within the college, which lasted a week from September 13 to 19, 2026. The tour included administrative offices, lecture halls, student classrooms, and laboratories to ensure the smooth running of work and the readiness of facilities, classrooms, and labs to welcome students at the start of the academic year. During the tour, she monitored the level of preparations and equipment, directing the completion of all setup and organizational tasks, paying attention to the overall appearance of the faculty, and working to provide a suitable educational and administrative environment, contributing to facilitating the educational process and creating a good atmosphere for students and staff as the 2026/2027 academic year begins. The Dean emphasized the importance of the coordinated efforts of all departments and working as a team to ensure an organized and outstanding start to the new academic year, reflecting a proud image of the Faculty of Specific Education. In this context, she extends her sincere thanks and appreciation to the heads of the scientific departments for their efforts and cooperation.

Professor Dr. Hala Salah El-Din Abdel Sattar, Head of the Department of Art Education at the Faculty of Specific Education – Assiut University, along with the esteemed faculty members and their assistants, sincerely congratulates and appreciates Dr. Mohamed Samir, Lecturer in Photography in the Department of Art Education, on his outstanding participation in the Youth Salon 2026. The Youth Salon is considered one of the most prominent annual art events, as it serves as an important platform for discovering and supporting the promising creative talents of young artists in various fields of fine arts. Many artists apply to participate, and the submitted works undergo a selection process through the Fine Arts Sector, reflecting the exceptional artistic level of the chosen pieces. Dr. Mohamed Samir's participation in this important art event confirms his distinguished artistic and academic experience and his remarkable creative contributions in painting and photography, alongside his academic and teaching role in the Department of Art Education.
