A meeting at the Faculty of Specific Education at Assiut University to enhance the academic advising system

As part of Assiut University's Faculty of Specific Education's commitment to enhancing the academic advisory system, supporting students, and providing an exceptional learning environment with the start of the new academic year 2026/2027, Professor Dr. Yasmin El-Kohky — Dean of the Faculty, and Professor Dr. Doaa Abdel Mohsen — Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, along with: Professor Dr. Hala Salah El-Din — Head of the Art Education Department, Professor Dr. Hend Mohamed Ali — Head of the Home Economics Department, Professor Dr. Saad Hassan Mohi El-Din — Head of the Educational Technology Department, and Mr. Salah Ibrahim — Director of Student Affairs at the Faculty, met to emphasize the importance of the academic advisor's role in following up with students, providing necessary support and guidance, and helping them make the most of their potential and capabilities. They also discussed effective communication methods with students, monitoring their academic progress, and addressing any challenges they might face. The Dean also stressed the importance of integrating efforts between department heads, faculty members, and their assistants to ensure the smooth running of the educational process and provide academic support to students.
