Assiut Al - Ahliya University, under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, and the Commissioner for conducting the work of Assiut Al-ahliya University, and under the supervision of: Dr. Nobi Mohammed Hassan, vice president of Assiut Al-Ahliya University for Academic Affairs, participated in the activities of the training program in the field of anti-corruption and governance for faculty cadres at private universities, which is organized by the Administrative Control Authority, at the headquarters of the National Anti-Corruption Academy in Cairo, from 16-18 from february.
The training program was attended by Dr. Ahmed Allam, acting director of programs of the Faculty of administrative and financial sciences at Assiut Al-Ahlia University, representing Assiut Al-Ahlia University in the training.
Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy stressed the importance of the training programs organized by the National Anti - Corruption Academy for members of the university community, including faculty members, students, and employees, which aim - in their entirety-to spread awareness of the concepts related to governance, anti-corruption, and spreading the values of integrity and transparency in society to achieve development and implement the targeted national strategy to combat corruption and address all its forms and forms.
Dr. Noubi Mohamed Hassan, vice president of Assiut Al-Ahlia University for Academic Affairs, pointed out that the program is an important step towards achieving the University's goals in building a conscious academic community capable of fighting corruption, stressing that promoting integrity and transparency is the basis for creating an effective educational environment and building generations capable of facing corruption characterized by integrity and transparency.
It is worth mentioning that the training program included a number of important axes in the field of anti-corruption and governance, which were: the definition of corruption, its causes and effects, the definition of the role of the Administrative Control Authority in the fight against corruption, the vision of Egypt 2030, the Sustainable Development Goals, management and business ethics, the legislative and institutional framework to combat corruption in Egypt, the information structure of the Egyptian state, governance in the face of corruption, corruption and national security.
