Assiut University Vice President inspects the development of several Olympic Village facilities
Within the framework of the directives of Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, to follow up the maintenance and development works within the university facilities, Dr. Ahmed Abdul-Mawla, vice president for education and student affairs, conducted an inspection tour inside the Olympic village to follow up on the progress of work after the development and maintenance work has been completed at its various facilities.
The tour was attended by Dr. Ahmed Salah Qara'a, general supervisor of the Olympic Village, and Dr. Haitham Ibrahim, Director General of the Youth Welfare Department.
Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy stressed that the university pays great attention to the development of the infrastructure of its sports facilities, in order to ensure the provision of a safe and stimulating sports environment for university students and Olympic Village pioneers from Assiut Governorate, especially in light of the launch of the summer sports season.
Dr. Abdulmoula's tour included inspecting the development works in the covered Hall (1) of the village Stadium, reviewing the dressing rooms and attached bathrooms that have been equipped, as well as following up on the condition of the swimming pool after maintenance work, and the summer trainings that are carried out inside it under the supervision of specialists.
The vice president of the University explained that this visit comes as part of a series of field follow-ups to ensure the quality of performance within the university facilities, praising the updates achieved, and appreciating the efforts of the work teams that contributed to raising the efficiency of facilities and improving the level of services provided to the public.
