Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, Acting President of Assiut University, announced that tomorrow, Tuesday, November 8, will be the opening of the Eleventh International Conference on the Geology of Africa, which is organized by the Department of Geology, Faculty of Science. The conference is part of the university's strategy to develop its research and academic levels by exchanging experiences on an international scale.
Dr. Abdel Hamid Abu Sahli, honorary chairman of the conference, also pointed out the importance of such activities that would support scientific progress and exchange experiences and cultures with all universities and various scientific institutions. 
Dr. Jamal Zaidan Abdel-Aal, the head of the conference, invited all students and researchers among the faculty members, postgraduate students and undergraduate students to participate in the conference. He declared that the conference will be held at the Faculty of Agriculture on Tuesday, 8 November.
