The camp "Leaders and Leadership for Egypt" at Assiut University discusses the rights and duties of university students, tolerance and acceptance of the other

Prof. El-Minshawy: the idea of the camp effectively contributes to arming the University's youth with awareness and leadership skills to perform their national role

  Within the framework of the activities of the "Leaders and Leadership for Egypt" camp at Assiut University, sponsored by Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of the University, which is organized by the University Students ' Union and the family of students for Egypt, in cooperation with the leadership preparation Department and the student unions Department of the General Administration of student welfare, under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Mawla, vice president of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Madiha Darwish, general supervisor of student activities at the University.

Assiut University organized many awareness and educational lectures with the participation of a group of distinguished professors in all disciplines within the framework of the overall goal of the camp. 

 Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy appreciated the idea of the camp, which effectively contributes to the formation of awareness of the University's youth; to qualify them to perform their national role, develop their abilities and leadership skills, as well as to spread the culture of community participation; to refine, build their personality, and publicize their rights and duties, through many awareness lectures, in addition to cultural, sports, social, and recreational activities.

 The camp organized a lecture by Dr. Doib saber, dean of the Faculty of law - Assiut University, and legal advisor to the president of the University, entitled "legal rights and duties of the university student", during which he addressed the rights of the university student, in accordance with the provisions of the Egyptian constitution of 2014, the law on the organization of universities, and its executive regulations; the first of which was the right to university education, commensurate with his abilities, reviewing a set of conditions so that he could benefit from this right, as well as the right to enjoy student services such as: housing in the University City, borrowing from the college library, and the University, medical care, the right to social welfare, the right to practice student activities, explaining the rights and disciplinary guarantees of the student, as the university student, also enjoys a wide range of rights, he has a number of duties, including: not to violate laws, regulations, or university traditions.

  In a lecture entitled" Tolerance and Acceptance of the Other in Islamic Thought", Dr. Hishmat al-Mufti, professor of interpretation and Quranic sciences at the Faculty of Origins of Religion and Da'wa, Al-Azhar University, discussed the goals of the heavenly canons, instilling the values of tolerance, and acceptance of humans for each other in the hearts of everyone, where the canons were established-through a set of foundations; that all humans are brothers in humanity, honored by Allah, and isolated in the Earth, colonized in different religions, ideas, languages, and colors.

For her side, Dr. Fatima Al-Zahri, assistant lecturer at the Faculty of Specific Education, reviewed a lecture entitled "Etiquette Arts", all kinds of uniforms, sports uniforms, talking arts, listening, body language, etiquette arts; as a leader or a member of a team, and how to deal with different situations and leadership personalities.

It is noteworthy that the camp is organized by: Dr. Haitham Ibrahim, Director General of the General Administration of Student Welfare, Mr. Mohamed Sayed Ali, camp director, Ms. Dalia Shobek, Camp Program Implementation Officer, Mr. Mohamed Sayed Mohamed, camp coordinator, student family liaison officer for Egypt, student Martin Nasser, president of the student union, family rapporteur, and student Salah Nadim, vice president of the student union.
