Postgraduate Sector Activities

The most important activities and tasks carried out by the Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs sector in the faculty could be summarized as follow:

  • Developing the faculty’s research plan with assistance from the scientific departments.
  • Organizing the admission of postgraduate students to the faculty from registration to scholarships.
  • Managing all graduate students' data on the university’s Internet.
  • Carry out exam tasks by preparing schedules and distributing committees and student signatures.
  • Follow up on the topics received from the scientific departments and other committees and the faculty council and implement what was mentioned in them.
  • Conducting all statistics and reports related to postgraduate studies.
  • Encourage participation of postgraduates in training courses and scientific conferences.
  • Announcing the workshops held by the university on projects in partnership with scientific and international bodies.
  • Encourage scientific research in the faculty and international publishing.
  • Support and encourage interdisciplinary research.
  • Encourage faculty members to apply for research projects.
