A Seminar Entitled "Women and Decision-Making"
Under the auspices of Professor Dr. Hassan Hawil, Dean of the College,
The College's Training and Professional Development Unit organized a seminar targeting female middle managers in the college's administrative staff, entitled "Women and Decision-Making." The seminar was presented by Professor Dr. Amani Mohamed Sharif, Vice Dean for Community Service Affairs, and attended by Professor Dr. Howaida Mahmoud Sayed, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.
The seminar addressed a number of important topics, most notably:
The concept of women's empowerment and its impact on developing the work environment.
Leadership and decision-making skills in educational institutions.
Challenges facing women in administrative positions and how to overcome them.
Successful experiences of leading female role models in academic and administrative work.
Professor Dr. Hassan Hawil, Dean of the College, emphasized the pivotal and important role of women in community development, stressing that their active participation in decision-making positions is a fundamental pillar for achieving comprehensive development. He called for continued support and empowerment of women in various academic and administrative sectors.
This seminar aligns with the directives of the political leadership, which commends the role of women and encourages their empowerment in various fields, recognizing their importance as essential partners in building the nation and shaping its future.
