Dr. El-Minshawy opens the annual exhibition and ceremony of the scientific departments of the Faculty of specific education at Assiut University for the academic year 2024-2025

Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, opened this Sunday morning, June 15, the activities of the thirty-third annual exhibition and ceremony of the scientific departments of the Faculty of specific education, for the academic year 2024-2025, which includes the departments: art education, home economics, music education, and educational technology, under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Abdul-Mola, vice president of the University for education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Yasmin Al-kahki, dean of the college.
Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy expressed his great happiness to be among the students of the Faculty of specific education, praising their high-end artistic creations that reflect their national awareness, their connection with their Egyptian identity, and their ability to express it with innovative thought and a high aesthetic sense.
The president of the University added that the students ' outstanding artistic projects are proof of their ability to turn theoretical aspects into practical applications that contribute to the development of society and the improvement of public taste.
Dr. El-Minshawy appreciated the efforts of the Faculty of specific education and their keenness to prepare generations equipped with science and knowledge in the fields of Arts and qualitative education, which contributes to strengthening the community culture and providing distinguished youth models capable of creativity and competition.
Following his tour of the exhibition, the rector of the university opened the public service center at the faculty, which is an important platform for marketing students ' products in various disciplines, and showcasing their creative production in a decent way that reflects the value of their works.
He also opened the music training hall of the Department of music education, after completing its development work, which included renovation and complete maintenance of walls, paints, electricity, wood, in addition to providing the hall with student chairs and the necessary supplies for practical training.
For his part, Dr. Ahmed Abdulmoula expressed his admiration for the high level of the exhibited artworks, which reflected the practice and development of artistic skills distinguished in various disciplines of the college, and the use of art as an effective educational means, stressing that the exhibition and the concert represent an opportunity to qualify student cadres for the labor market, and hone their talents and skills to contribute to the implementation of their ideas and creations in the form of art projects that benefit society.
In a related context, Dr. Yasmin Al-kahki extended her sincere thanks and appreciation to all those responsible for preparing and organizing the exhibition and the annual ceremony this year, noting that this event crowns the achievements of the college's students in various applied courses, and an opportunity to discover their abilities and creations that hold a promising future in the fields of specific education, as well as its role in providing an opportunity to reveal talents and encourage them to submit more creative works.
The dean of the Faculty of specific education also praised the keenness of the university administration to take care of the care of talented students, support them and encourage them to develop their abilities in all fields, and build their creative spirit, praising its efforts in providing all means of support and care for student activities and events throughout the years of study, and the establishment of art exhibitions, workshops and art seminars for students permanently, as a basic source of artistic and humanitarian taste.
The exhibition represents the culmination of the efforts of the College of specific education's creative students in producing and presenting educational content that reflects their excellence and academic, skill and creative excellence, under the supervision of Dr. Hala Salah al-Din, head of the art education department, Dr. Hind Al-yidak, head of the home economics department, Dr. Saad Hassan, coordinator of the education technology department, while the concert was organized under the supervision of Dr. Muntaser Al-qalli, head of the music education department.
The exhibition was attended by Dr. Nariman Saeed, vice dean of the college for graduate studies and Research Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Abdul Basit, vice dean of the college for community service and Environmental Development, Dr. Wajdi Rifat, former dean of the college, Mr. Ahmed Farag, Secretary of the college, and a number of faculty members, the assistant faculty, students and students.
The art education exhibition included a collection of paintings, works and creative artistic designs in the disciplines of sculpture, art works, textiles, metalwork, as well as textile printing, ceramics, woodwork, painting, photography, and design. The exhibited works showed brilliant artistic creativity and distinguished attempts by students to break out of the stereotypical and traditional context to the horizons of creativity and innovation while preserving the cultural, artistic and civilizational heritage.
The home economics exhibition presented a lot of crafts and innovative works in the specialties of clothing and textile, nutrition and Food Science, Home Management and family economics, which included textile works, Fashion Design, children's clothing, outdoor and home clothing, the design and implementation of furnishings, as well as the design of patron models, handicrafts, in addition to foods, baked goods and food products with healthy characteristics and high quality.
While the exhibition of educational and computer technology included a number of advanced technological designs of students, including the design of virtual reality programs, educational software, educational websites, audio and video processing, and these projects reflected the extent of cooperation and integration between the field of educational technology and the educational process, keeping pace with the accelerated developments in the technological and digital field, and the use of artificial intelligence tools in the development of their professional skills and abilities.
The concert for the students of the Department of music education included a set of individual and group singing segments, as well as individual and group playing of a number of distinctive musical pieces, which reflected the students ' ability to take advantage of applied courses in various fields of music to produce artistic works reflecting the spirit of innovation and teamwork, and the ability to transform knowledge into a visual, audio and realistic experience.
