Members' tasks

  • Organizing students' admission to the faculty and determining the numbers that correspond to the capacity of the faculty.
  • Organizing and studying student services for faculty students, provided by the departments affiliated to the faculty representative for education and students affairs (measurement and evaluation / scientific leadership / youth care).
  • Organizing the affairs of all activities related to faculty/ university students.
  • Following up the implementation of the educational and teaching plan for undergraduate students.
  • Determining the date of the final exams and approving the plan of the faculty Council.
  • Accepting and rejecting requests submitted by students (excuses / transfer / immobilization)
  • Holding the Committee for Education and Student Affairs every month to view and study all items related to the educational process in the faculty, and to submit the matter to the Faculty Council for matters that require approval of the Faculty Board.
  • Forming control systems for the bachelor's degree.
  • Preparing reviewing, and submitting the teaching and learning strategy to the Faculty Council.
  • Preparing the formation of the examination committee places and distributing the committees according to the examination schedule.
  • Preparing a proposal for the examination schedule for the undergraduate stage as a prelude to present it to students in preparation for accreditation.

Tasks of the Committee

  • To ensure that educational programs are developed and modernized in line with national academic standards.
  • To review the goals and ensure that they are in line with the university's goals and mission.
  • To follow-up on achieving the educational mission of the faculty that emerges from the university’s mission.
  • To review the curricula of undergraduate and postgraduate courses periodically.
  • To document the academic decisions in the departmental councils, then the faculty council.
  • To review the educational goals targeted with the requirements of the labor market.
  • To compare and review goals with the health needs and problems of society.
  • To follow up the departments in implementing the educational policy in the application.
  • To matching teaching programs with the targeted learning outcomes.
  • To review the coverage of the curricula for the targeted educational goals in each curriculum taught to students.
  • To analyze and study the results of student exams.

Tasks of the Committee

  • Preparing mechanisms to develop curricula and academic regulations for the undergraduate stage and to ensure their compatibility with the faculty’s mission.
  • Providing advice to the academic departments regarding developing the educational process based on continuous evaluation and feedback from practice.
  • Developing study plans for the program.
  • Following up on the various academic and cultural activities related to developing and updating the school curricula.
  • Ensuring that the content is not repeated in the courses.
  • Adopting the fundamental changes in the current courses.
  • Adoption new courses.
