The participants of the Forum praised the " leaders of the student unions of the Universities of the New Republic.. Egypt 2030 " with the leading role played by Assiut University in organizing and hosting the event, which was held during the period from February 10 to 12, under the supervision of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of higher education and scientific research, and Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University. The participants stressed that the forum was an important platform to enhance communication between Egyptian university students ' unions and develop their leadership skills, within the framework of Egypt's Vision 2030 to support young people and qualify them for the future.
The forum, hosted by the Hall of Prof. Dr. Mohammed Rafat in the administrative building of the University, witnessed a wide participation of representatives of the student unions of 28 Egyptian public universities and institutes, where it aimed to prepare a conscious generation of student leaders, and promote the values of cooperation and teamwork between the presidents and deputies of university unions.
Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, stressed that the University puts the support of students and the development of their skills at the forefront of its priorities, pointing out that this forum is an important step towards qualifying students to participate effectively in building the future of the nation.
The forum was organized in cooperation between the Assiut University Students ' Union, the "students for Egypt" family, and the student unions Department of the General Administration of student welfare, under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed abdulmoula, vice president of the University for education and Student Affairs, Dr. Karim Hammam, advisor to the minister of higher education for student activities, Dr. Madiha Darwish, general coordinator of student activities, and Dr. Haitham Ibrahim, Director General of student welfare. The students also played Martin Nasser, Secretary of the forum and president of the Assiut University Students ' Union, and Salah al-Nadim, assistant secretary of the forum and vice president of the union, with the participation and supervision of Mr. Mohamed Sayed, and Ms. Dalia Shobak, General Department of student welfare, Assiut University.
The forum included a number of seminars and lectures, the most prominent of which was a lecture delivered by His Excellency Dr. Nazir Ayad, the grand mufti of Egypt, under the title "science and its impact on building awareness", in addition to meetings with a group of public figures and student leaders, which discussed the role of student unions in developing community awareness and honing leadership skills.
The events concluded with the inauguration ceremony of the New Assiut University Students ' Union, amid wide praise from those present for the role played by the Union in supporting fellow students and representing them inside and outside the University.
The forum was highly welcomed by the participants, who praised Assiut University's efforts in organizing it, stressing that it provided an ideal environment for dialogue and exchange of experiences between students of different universities, and contributed to strengthening the role of student unions in achieving sustainable development, in line with the Egyptian state Vision 2030 in empowering young people and preparing them to assume responsibility and participate effectively in building society.
