Dr. El-Minshawy explained that the disaster committee continues to provide its financial assistance to workers facing emergency health or social crises, through the disbursement of economic subsidies for cases that bear high costs as a result of surgery, whether major or medium, as well as cases of treatment of cancerous tumors. The committee's services also include support for burn cases, social assistance related to cases of death, marriage, and other circumstances that require rapid intervention.

The committee allows employees to apply for financial support through two forms, the first is social for cases related to marriage, death, or childbirth, with the attachment of supporting documents, and the other is satisfactory for health conditions such as surgeries and cancer diseases, with the submission of medical reports issued within a period not exceeding three months.

Applications submitted through the Office of the Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs are reviewed and approved by the vice president of the university, the financial advisor to the president of the University, and the secretary general of the university, to ensure transparency and accuracy in the disbursement procedures.

The disaster committee consists of the vice president of the University for community service and environmental development as chairman, the membership of the chancellor of the University for financial affairs, the assistant secretary general for financial affairs, the director general of special funds, in addition to the Accountant of the committee.
