Assiut Al-Ahlia University organized a visit for students to the Cairo International Book Fair in its 56th session, under the supervision of Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University and Commissioner for conducting the work of Assiut Al-Ahlia University, and under the supervision of Dr. Noubi Mohammed Hassan, vice president for academic affairs, with the participation of (90) students from the University, and organized by Dr. Mayra Ahmed Thabet, Youth Welfare Officer at Assiut Al-Ahlia University.
Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy pointed out that this visit comes within the framework of interest in student activities, activating the plan of Assiut Al-Ahlia University during the mid-academic year vacation in developing the cultural and enlightenment aspects among students and being keen to integrate them and participate in various events.
Prof. El-Minshawy stressed the University's keenness to organize student visits to the Cairo International Book Fair, as it is a prominent cultural event awaited by millions every year from Egypt and various brotherly Arab countries, pointing out the importance of these visits in developing cultural and intellectual awareness among students, encouraging them to read, research and study, and it comes in line with the keenness of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, president of the Republic, to support the cultural and intellectual movement in Egypt, and to achieve Egypt's vision 2030.
Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy called on the students of private and governmental universities to invest in this outstanding cultural opportunity to expand their horizons of knowledge and culture, which contributes to shaping their personalities and raising their cultural awareness.
Dr. Noubi Mohamed Hassan explained: that Assiut National University organized two visits for its students to the Cairo International Book Fair; and the Armed Forces pavilion was inspected, where this year's figure came in the pavilion, namely: Field Marshal Mohammed Abdul Halim Abu Ghazaleh, who is one of the most prominent pioneers of the Egyptian military, and the Ministry of Interior pavilion was inspected in conjunction with the Egyptian state celebrations of Police Day, and students were briefed on the publications of both pavilions and their latest versions.
It is worth mentioning that the Cairo International Book Fair is in its 56th session, organized by the Egyptian General Book Authority, and will be held during the period from January 23 to February 5, at the Egypt Center for International Exhibitions in the fifth cluster under the slogan "read .. In the beginning was the word".
