The President of Assiut University launches the thirteenth International Conference on Pharmaceutical Sciences by the end of this week

As a result of the many achievements Assiut university has fulfilled in various scientific fields, and under the auspices of his excellency Professor Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, Acting President of the University, announced that the university will organize, next Friday, the Thirteenth International Conference on Pharmaceutical Sciences from 18 to19 November in Luxor under the title “Pharmaceutical Research and the Drug Industry in Light of Egypt’s Vision for Sustainable Development 2030”.  This conference confirms the university's strategy to develop the research and academic levels.
The conference comes in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Acting Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and President of the Conference; Dr. Jehan Nabil Fteih, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy for Postgraduate Studies and Research and Secretary General of the Conference; and a group of researchers and specialists in the field of pharmaceutical research and its various sciences from Assiut University and a number of universities. Moreover, the Egyptian National Research Center, Zewail City of Science and Technology, and lecturers and researchers from Arab and foreign countries attended the conference. 
Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Mawla stated that the conference aims to review all that is new in the field of modern applied research in the field of medicine. This is achieved through a number of different axes, which include modern trends in drug delivery and drug targeting, nanotechnology, pharmaceutical biotechnology, construction, drug design and clinical pharmacy.
Dr. Jihan Nabil also stated that the conference includes giving several lectures over four sessions, “25 lectures.” This is in addition to sessions for pending research, “35 pending research.” Students also participate in the conference sessions by giving pending research conducted by the Student Research Unit and the Medicinal Plants Research Unit in the college.
