Prof.El-Minshawy praises the scientific, cultural, and awareness witnessed by the seminars of the "Islamic Da'wa Week"

Assiut University, under the supervision of Prof . Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of the University, November, the conclusion of the activities of the Islamic Da'wah week, which came under the title: "Faith and the Building o ofHumann", organized by the Higher Committee for da'wah, Islamic Research of Complex, in the Assiut University campus; under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Abdul-Mawla, vice president of Assiut University for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Abdul-Rahman Al-Quwain, vice president of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, and Dr. Mohammed Abdul-Dayem Al-Jundi, secretary general of the Islamic Research Complex.
The organization of the activities of the Islamic Da'wah week at Assiut University comes within the directives of His Eminence Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, by intensifying programs, advocacy, and awareness events to achieve the role of Al-Azhar and its advocacy and awareness mission.
Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy stressed that the meetings of the" Islamic Call week", which began on Sunday 4 November and lasted for three days, came within the framework of the Presidential Initiative," a new beginning for Human building", and aimed at preparing an intellectual map dealing with human building in all its aspects; intellectual, ideological, social, and consolidating the system of values, ethics, and ideals in society, with the participation of a group of scholars of Al-Azhar.
Prof. El-Minshawy praised the scientific, cultural, and awareness witnessed by the seminars of the Islamic Dawah week, praising the tireless efforts of the momentum Islamic Research Complex in raising awareness of tolerant Islamic values, spreading moderate concepts, countering erroneous ideas and tendentious rumors, in addition to supporting the efforts of the state in achieving stability and sustainable development, in addition to highlighting presidential initiatives such as the "A new beginning; to build a human being", aimed at achieving human development in various aspects of life.
The first seminar came from the activities of the Islamic Da'wa week, entitled "The Islamic faith: its concept and characteristics", and was attended by Dr. Mohammed Abdul Dayem Al-Jundi, secretary-general of the Islamic Research Complex, and Dr. Hassan Yahya, assistant secretary-general of the Supreme Committee for da'wa Affairs, and the seminar was moderated by Dr. Mohammed Al-Diasti, a member of the media center in Sheikh Al-Azhar.
During the seminar, Dr. Mohammed Al-Jundi stressed several facts, the most important of which is that one of the constants of the Muslim faith is that Allah faith does not contain a place and is not limited by Time; Space and time are created, and Allah faith is to be surrounded by something of his creation, but he is the creator of everything, and he is the surrounding of everything and that disciplined faith is the basis of values, morals, and ideals in society, and if nations differ from the correct faith,
As the Secretary General of the Islamic Research Complex explained during the symposium; the Al-Azhar Al-Sharif doctrine is a doctrine that has a basis, and addresses the human mind, stressing in this framework; the need to identify our information sources from the mouths of scientists directly, reviewing the characteristics of the Islamic faith.
Dr. Hassan Yahya warned of the absence of faith in Man, which makes him vulnerable, stressing in this regard that the first data of societies is their psychological stability, and stability cannot be achieved without sound faith, and faith makes its owner the owner of a vision and a plan, so he knows the reason for his existence, as well as knows the end, method and Means, purifies the conscience and directs it to the right direction, purifies the mind from superstitions, and frees the will of man.
The activities of the second day of the "Islamic Da'wa week" witnessed a seminar entitled "Methodology of dealing with the texts of the Quran and Sunnah", during which Dr. Mohammed Abdul Malik al-Khatib, vice-president of Al-Azhar University for the tribal face, Dr. Morsi Mohammed Hassan, professor of Hadith and its Sciences, Faculty of Assiut branch, and Sheikh Yusuf Mohammed Al-Mansi, a member of the secretariat of the Higher Committee for da'wa, and was moderated by Dr. Mohammed Al-Diasti, a member of the media center in Masheikha.
During the seminar, Dr. Mohammed Abdul Malik stressed that the Holy Quran is the book that was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), and Allah made it a miracle that remains, explaining the rules and regulations that everyone who deals with the Quran should be familiar with.
Dr. Morsi Mohamed Hassan pointed out that one of the rules of understanding the Prophet's Sunnah is to view it as a revelation from Allah, may he be exalted, adding that it is also one of the rules of correct connected officer bonds, and this corresponds to the order of the correct Hadith, and each has controls in terms of Health, weakness and acceptance of the hadiths.
Sheikh Yusuf Mohammed Al-Mansi, a member of the higher Secretariat for advocacy affairs at the Islamic Research Complex, explained that deriving rulings requires a correct understanding of the text to know the meaning of the words of command and prohibition in the text and that the person who deduces the ruling should be a scholar of the language of the Holy Quran to be able to memorize and understand the text.
The lecture included an open discussion between the lecturers and the audience on the evidence of women's equity in the Quran, where the lecturers stressed that women in Islam enjoy rights and equity that they have not seen in other societies. The Holy Quran honored women gave them their rights as a human being, honored them as a female, honored them as a daughter and mothers, as a wife and a member of society, and gave them in some cases of inheritance what distinguished them from men.
The seminar recommended the need to remove confusion about the understanding of young people of some texts, broadcast by skeptics via social media, which have been described as poisoned reading.
At the end of the Islamic Da'wah week, a seminar entitled: "Science and religion. Direct or reverse relationship", during which Dr. Hassan Ibrahim Yahya, assistant secretary general of the Higher Committee for Dawah affairs, attended the Islamic Research Complex, and Dr. Rashwan Abu Zeid, professor of Hadith and its Sciences, Faculty of Islamic studies, Sohag, and the seminar was moderated by Dr. Mohammed Al-Diasti, member of the media center in Masheikha.
During the seminar, Dr. Hassan Yahya stressed that the doctrine of monotheism does not contradict the principle of Science and that science and religion follow the same path. Science, with all its progress, Finally Confirms the reality of the existence of Allah-Almighty - and his ability in his creation, explaining that nothing of Allah's creation from the Earth, heavens, and cosmic realities sought to know science, except the Quran drew people to understand it, in knowing it is evidence of the existence of Allah the creator.
Dr. Hassan Yahya pointed out that one of the reasons for the apostrophe of civilizations is that they have exaggerated religion, so our Islamic civilizations are the best witness, and their survival is the best proof of linking religion with science and affirming that the relationship between religion and science is an integrative relationship that does not contradict between them, as Dr. Rashwan Abu Zeid reviewed the difference between divine science and experimental science.
