Under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, the Faculty of specific education organized a celebration, on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, to honor the participants in the technical convoys launched by the faculty during the month of November 2024 under the title "a qualitative beginning for community benefit", within the framework of the Presidential Initiative for Human Development "a new beginning for Human building".
The ceremony came under the supervision of Dr. Mahmoud Abdul Alim, vice president of the University for community service and environmental development, and Dr. Yasmin Al-kahki, dean of the Faculty of specific education, and in the presence of a number of university leaders, faculty members and students.
Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy praised the efforts of the participants in the art convoys, stressing that these convoys play an important role in highlighting the local artistic and cultural heritage, and providing various technical and educational services to support and develop the local community, pointing out that these events contribute to spreading positive values and enhancing belonging and citizenship among the community groups, in line with the axes of the Presidential Initiative "Bidaya", and supports the achievement of Egypt's Vision 2030 in the field of sustainable development.
For his side, Dr. Mahmoud Abdulalim stressed the importance of the role of the Faculty of specific education in supporting the Presidential Initiative "Bidaya", praising the successful organization of convoys and technical workshops aimed at developing human skills and promoting creativity and innovation. He also stressed the importance of cooperation between the University and civil society institutions to achieve sustainable development in various fields.
Dr. Yasmin Al-kahki added that the technical convoys organized by the College included many artistic and cultural activities that targeted various villages and centers of Assiut Governorate, and the most prominent places that hosted these events were: Nazlat bakhum Elementary School of Sahel slim educational department, Deir Basra school at Al-Fath Center, Bani Mar Preparatory School for girls, Dar Al-Safa for girls ' care, an artistic convoy to beautify the Oncology Institute, and events at the Assiut Palace of culture.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Mohammed Abdul Basit, vice dean of the college for community service and Environmental Development, Dr. Hala Salah al-Din, head of the art education department, Dr. Hind Al-yidak, head of the home economics department, and Dr. Wajdi Rifat, former dean of the College of specific education
