Dr. El-Minshawy receives the prime minister during his visit to Assiut and praises the efforts of the state in the development of Upper Egypt
Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, prime minister, began an inspection visit to Assiut Governorate this morning to follow up on a number of ongoing service and development projects in the governorate, as part of the government's keenness to support upper level governorates and enhance their development efforts.
He was received at Assiut International Airport by Major General Dr. Hisham Abu Al-Nasr, governor of Assiut, professor Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, and Dr. Mina Emad, deputy governor of Assiut.
The prime minister was accompanied during his visit by a high-level ministerial delegation, which included: Dr. Khaled Abdul Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health and population, Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development, Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of social solidarity, engineer Sherif Al-sherini, Minister of housing, utilities and urban communities, Mr. Alaeddin Farouk, Minister of Agriculture and land reclamation, Mr. Mohammed Abdul Latif, Minister of education and technical education, and Major General Majid Abdul Hamid, Deputy Minister of transport.
Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy welcomed the prime minister and his accompanying delegation, expressing his happiness with this visit, which reflects the great interest paid by the political leadership in Assiut Governorate, and to upgrade the level of services and infrastructure in Upper Egypt.
The president of Assiut University praised the great national and development projects witnessed in the governorate with the direct support of the state, stressing that the University, with its scientific and research capabilities and distinguished cadres, contributes strongly to serving the Sustainable Development Goals through training, scientific research, and effective partnerships with various government agencies.
The price of Dr. He stressed that Assiut University is keen to continue its cooperation with all state institutions to serve the people of Upper Egypt, provide real training opportunities for young people, and actively participate in national projects witnessed in the region.
