Prof. El-Minshawy: providing full support for the care of people of determination and organizing various activities and events

Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, stressed the University's support for the Presidential Initiative "Tamkeen" to give people of determination equal opportunities to participate effectively, along with the rest of the community, through their participation in integrated activities alongside their colleagues, and to enhance cooperation and the spirit of joint work among all students, pointing out that the initiative comes within the framework of the ongoing efforts of the Egyptian state to promote the rights of people of determination and spread awareness of their rights and duties in universities.

As part of this, the Center for the Care of Students with Disabilities at Assiut University organizes several events and various activities under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Mawla, vice president for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Omnia Abdel-Kader, director of the Center for the care of students with disabilities at the University, and within the framework of the "Tamkeen" initiative, implemented by the Ministry of higher education and scientific research, in cooperation with the "donors of hope" global campaign; to raise awareness of the rights and duties of students with disabilities within Egyptian universities, and provide equal opportunities for them.

Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Mawla, vice-president of the University for education and Student Affairs, pointed out that the Center organizes a number of events within the framework of the University's participation in the initiative, and students of determination have been trained on the activity of roaming and public service, explaining: the center trains about 40 male and female students; on this activity through the training centers that it holds throughout the year, students, through the center, the "kaderun" clan, which is the first mobile clan of people of determination at the level of Egyptian universities, in various scouting activities, the latest of which is the Scout course (43)The and guidance (29), at Assiut University; where the clan (14) included a ranger and a ranger with various disabilities, and they participate in all the activities and competitions included in the course; religious, scouting, cultural, artistic, public service, recreational activity, first aid training, and awareness seminars.

Dr. Umniah Abdulkader also pointed out the organization of the center; training in plastic arts for amateurs of students, students with disabilities, numbering (50) from various disabilities, who are trained throughout the year, in the arts of painting in gouache, acrylic, printing, paper, wooden, bead works, fabric, etc., and the Center organizes an annual exhibition of students ' works, in addition to the participation of students with their works of art, in various exhibitions, including the exhibition of the forum "I can".
