Dr. El-Minshawy inspects the progress of work at Assiut Al-Ahlia University and discusses cooperation with the delegation of Sohag Al-Ahlia University
Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University and in charge of conducting the work of Assiut Al-Ahlia University, conducted an inspection visit to the headquarters of Assiut Al-Ahlia University, during which he followed the progress of work in various sectors, and assured the readiness of colleges and educational and service facilities in preparation for the start of the new academic year, in the presence of Dr. Nobi Mohammed Hassan, vice president of the University for Academic Affairs, and Mr. Mustafa Hassan, secretary general of the University.
During the visit, Dr. El-Minshawy met with a delegation from Sohag private university, within the framework of enhancing joint cooperation between private universities, which contributes to the integration of efforts towards the development of academic and administrative performance, and support the state's orientation towards building an integrated and unified private educational system.
The delegation of Sohag Al-ahliya University included Mr. Ashraf al-Qadi, secretary general of the University, Dr. Yasser Abdel Fattah, Assistant Secretary, Mr. saber Abu Aqrab, director of Education Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Amer, Director General of legal affairs, as well as a number of administrators.
During the meeting, Dr. El-Minshawy stressed the importance of institutional cooperation between private universities and joint work, in line with the goals of comprehensive development, and meets the needs of the local and international labor market. He also stressed that Assiut National University seeks to provide an advanced educational model based on innovation and entrepreneurship, in order to enhance its ability to keep pace with the requirements of the future.
The president of the university also noted his participation in the meeting held by Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, prime minister, yesterday evening at the government headquarters in the new city of El Alamein, which dealt with the follow-up of the developments of the private universities system in Egypt, within the delegation of the Ministry of Higher Education headed by Professor Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of higher education and scientific research, with the participation of Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development and international cooperation, and a number of university presidents and representatives of concerned authorities.
Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy represented Assiut National University during the meeting, during which Dr. Ayman Ashour reviewed a proposal to establish a unified entity for public education in Egypt, which includes under its umbrella private universities and their academic and service facilities, hospitals, research centers and logistics services, within the framework of the Presidential Initiative "alliance and development".
