<p>Under the supervision of His Excellency Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Manshawy – President of Assiut University, His Excellency Professor Dr. Jamal Badr – Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, Professor Dr. Yasmin El-Kahky – Dean of the Faculty, Professor Dr. Nariman Ishaq – Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, and Professor Dr. Hind Mohamed Ali – Head of the Home Economics Department, the master's thesis of researcher Israa Zein El-Abdin Ahmed, specializing in Nutrition and Food Sciences, was discussed. The thesis is entitled "The Relationship Between Zinc from Food Sources and Heart Function in Patients with Heart Muscle Weakness." The discussion took place on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 10:00 AM in the Faculty Conference Hall. She followed up on the departments' preparations to complete the practical projects.

Professor Dr. Yasmin Al-Kahki, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, conducted an inspection tour of the scientific departments within the faculty, visiting the Departments of Art Education, Home Economics, and Educational Technology, to follow up and ensure the smooth progress of work and the regularity of the educational process. During the tour, she monitored the departments' preparations to complete practical projects and listened to the observations of faculty members and their assistants, emphasizing the importance of providing an outstanding learning environment that fosters creativity and enhances academic performance within the faculty. She also expressed her appreciation for the creativity demonstrated by students across various departments, commending their remarkable work and affirming her commitment to supporting their talents and encouraging them to continue excelling and putting in greater effort. The tour concluded with her thanking all faculty members and their assistants for their efforts, reaffirming the continuation of teamwork to achieve the highest standards of quality within the faculty.

The Student Care Department – (Social Committee) organized a seminar entitled: 'A Series of Awareness Seminars and Meetings to Combat the Spread of Drugs Among Students'

<p>Under the patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy – President of the University, His Excellency Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla – Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Yasmin El-Kahki – Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, and Professor Dr. Doaa Abdel Mohsen – Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, the Student Care Department – (Social Committee) organized a seminar entitled: "Series of Awareness Seminars and Meetings to Combat the Spread of Drugs Among Students" as part of cooperation with the Fund for Combating and Treating Addiction and Drug Abuse. The seminar was presented by Dr. Nady Said – Advisor to the Fund for Combating and Treating Addiction at the Cabinet, who provided an outstanding scientific and awareness-based presentation to educate young people about the dangers of addiction, the methods of drug use, how to prevent it, and the correct ways to deal with this phenomenon. The Dean of the Faculty extends her sincere thanks and appreciation to Dr. Nady Said for his efforts and active participation in the seminar. The opening of the International Science and Engineering Fair (ICEF) held at Nasser High School for Boys in Asyut

In light of the state's support for innovation and encouragement of students to be creative at the pre-university education stage, the International Science and Engineering Fair (ICEF) was inaugurated at Nasser Secondary School for Boys in Asyut. Students competed with various projects covering multiple scientific and research fields, with participation from a large number of schools within Asyut Governorate, which enhances students' research and innovation skills. A distinguished panel of professors specializing in science and technology fields participated in judging the competition, with Professor Dr. Yasmin El-Kahki – Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education – selected as part of the judging team. The students excelled in presenting innovative and outstanding projects reflecting their creative abilities and level of scientific thinking. Events of the 'A Painting in a Song' competition organized by the General Directorate of Student Welfare

Under the patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Menshawy – President of Assiut University, and His Excellency Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Mawla – Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Yasmin El-Kahky – Dean of the Faculty, and Professor Dr. Doaa Abdel-Mohsen – Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, the Faculty of Specific Education participated in the 'A Painting in a Song' competition organized by the University’s General Administration for Student Welfare. The competition aimed to refine students' artistic skills and enhance creativity by translating the feeling of a song into a complete artwork. The faculty’s students achieved top positions in the competition: Poster Competition • Student / Menna Allah Ezz – First Place • Student / Heidi Latif – Second Place Drawing Competition • Student / Amani Mahmoud – Third Place At the conclusion of the events, the awards for the 'Most Beautiful Ramadan Square' competition, which was held last March, were presented, with the Faculty of Specific Education ranking fifth among all university faculties. • The role of the individual in achieving sustainable development goals
• Preparing qualified graduates capable of competing in the labor market
