About Department

It is one of the main departments, which prepares sociology researchers and sociologists who cooperate with individuals in the society to develop, cooperate, and promote it. This can be done through studying the society's problems and putting solutions and suggestions to face, as well as to overcome these problems to achieve the comprehensive development in the society. The study in the department is divided into two sections:

1. Bachelor stage

The study takes four years. The student study issues of sociology, science & Anthropology and what is related to them of sociology & humanity sciences.

2.Higher studies stage

Includes the preliminary year for Master’s degree and Ph.D. in sociology science.

This department aims to graduate technical leaders who are capable of doing the work and research in different fields.
