The board of Directors of the New Assiut University Club held a meeting, yesterday evening, Monday, December 30 chaired by Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University and chairman of the club's Board of directors, to discuss a number of topics related to the club's development plan, and to discuss the club's activities agenda during the half-year break.

At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy stressed the importance of cooperation, consultation, and organized teamwork, which leads to reaching innovative ideas that contribute to upgrading the services provided by the club to its members, pointing to the keenness of the university administration to provide all means of support for the activities and services provided to club members in various fields, to play its role in enriching university life and enhancing communication between university faculty members.

Prof. El-Minshawy expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the club's board members in their sincere work to develop the club's performance and activate its role, and praised their efforts in developing the club's plans and programs and continuing to implement them effectively.

The meeting discussed performance indicators and achievement rates in the club's development plan to raise its efficiency and development, where it was directed to address engineering affairs; maintenance, repair and painting of the umbrellas in the club's garden, the purchase of mosquito nets for the garden, heaters for toilets, equipping the mosque with all supplies of brushes and air conditioners, the meeting also discussed mechanisms to enhance the cultural activities of club members during the half-year vacation period.

The members of the board of Directors of the university club appreciated the support provided by the university administration to finalize the development plan of the club to be an honorable interface befitting the name of Assiut University, harnessing all possibilities to strengthen social and family relations, and preparing entertainment programs for faculty members and their families.

The meeting was attended by members of the club's Board of directors, namely: Dr. Ahmed Abdul Mawla, vice president of the University for education and student affairs (Vice Chairman of the board of Directors), Dr. Amr Syed Hassan Ahmed (Treasurer), Dr. Madiha Hosni Ahmed Darwish, Dr. dwaib Hussein saber Abdul Azim, Dr. Shorouk Jamal Mohammed Ali, Mr. Abdulhadi Hassan, director general of the General Administration of private funds, and Mr. Mohammed Jaber, managing director of the club.

Following the meeting, Prof. Ahmed El -Minshawy and the members of the club's Board of directors conducted an inspection tour to follow up the development and renovation works carried out in the club's corridors and the children's garden.
