“The Arab African International Bank donates several medical devices and equipment to Assiut University Children's Hospital.

-Prof. El-Minshawy expresses his appreciation to the Arab African International Bank and emphasizes the importance of Assiut University Hospitals in supporting the state's health system.

The head of the Development Sector of the Arab African International Bank praises the great progress in the capabilities, medical equipment, and human resources of Assiut University Hospitals.

-  Assiut University President Prof. El-Minshawy announced that the Arab African International Bank (AAIB) has donated a number of medical devices and equipment worth more than EGP 8 million to the University Children's Hospital.

- On Sunday, January 12, Assiut University President Dr. Alaa Attia, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals, and Rania Bassiouni Osman, Head of Development and Social Responsibility Sector at the Arab African International Bank, attended the handover of medical devices and equipment to the University Children's Hospital, in the presence of Dr. Alaa Attia, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals.

- Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy explained that the medical devices provided by the Arab African International Bank included (38) electric chairs for children, (12) incubators with their accessories, (2) capsules, and (2) bile machines to serve premature babies in the hospital, in addition to (2) dialysis machines, noting that these devices and medical equipment represent an important addition to the University Children's Hospital to contribute to improving medical and therapeutic services for children and newborns.

- Prof. El-Minshawy expressed his appreciation for the donation of the Arab African International Bank, which reflects the solidarity of civil society institutions to support the needs of hospitals for the necessary medical devices and to continue supporting the state's health system in order to provide the best medical service to all citizens who visit university hospitals.

- Assiut University President pointed out that the university has developed many university hospitals to provide highly efficient medical services in line with international developments in various medical specialties, stressing that this work comes within the framework of the fruitful cooperation between Assiut University and the Arab African International Bank to improve the level of health services in university hospitals in Assiut.

- According to Ms. Rania Bassiouni, this gift is the beginning of further cooperation with the prestigious Assiut University, which owns the largest medical city at the Upper Egyptian level, equipped with the latest capabilities, medical equipment, and human cadres, consistent with the highest international quality levels, and in line with the Arab African International Bank's plan and strategy to serve the community and support the health sector, as it is one of the most important areas that directly affect the state's development plans and contribute to providing the best health care for the Egyptian citizen.

- The meeting was attended by Dr. Yasser Farouk, Director of the University Children's Hospital, Dr. Mohamed Gamil, Deputy Director of the Hospital for Quality Affairs, Dr. Gamal Askar, Head of the Department of Pediatrics, Dr. Ibrahim Ali Ibrahim, Head of the Department of Pediatric Surgery, Mr. Ayman Thabet, Director General of Administrative and Financial Affairs at the hospital, and the participation of a group of hospital doctors from different departments and officials of the bank.

- It is worth mentioning that the joint cooperation protocol between the university and the Arab African International Bank, which was concluded in 2024, aims to enhance aspects of cooperation in the medical field by supporting the development of university hospitals and raising their efficiency, which contributes to providing the best health services to all patients visiting them.
