Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, Acting President of Assiut University, issued a decision renewing the appointment of Dr. Manal Farouk Mustafa Abdallah, Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, as Head of the Department, until her sovereignty reaches the legal retirement age.
The President of Assiut University also issued new decisions appointing 3 new heads of departments. 

Where the decisions stipulated the appointment of Dr. Amr Ahmed Ali Youssef, Professor in the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, as head of the department, for a period of three years, and the appointment of Dr. Ahmed Zayed Abdullah Zayed, Professor in the Department of Geography, Faculty of Arts, as head of the department, for a period of one year, and also Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Sabour Abdul Karim, Assistant Professor, Department of Public Finance, Financial Legislation, and Economic Law at the Faculty of Law, working as the head of the department, for a year.
