- Prof. El-Minshaw: The forum aims to motivate women to establish small and micro enterprises and encourage them to work.
- Assiut University, under the supervision of Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of the University, and under the supervision of Dr. Mahmoud Abdelalem, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, is organizing a forum on “Rural Women and Economic Empowerment”, under the slogan: “Productive Rural Women. In cooperation with the National Council for Women, on Monday, January 13, at 10:00 a.m. in the eight hall of the university's administrative building, in cooperation with the National Council for Women.
- Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy pointed out the importance of the forum's theme, which aims to motivate women to establish small and micro enterprises, enabling them to contribute to work and achieve financial stability for themselves and their families, pointing out the role of women in supporting society and the national economy.
- The forum is co-organized by: Dr. Ali Kamal Moabed, Director of the Center for Monitoring and Studying Community Problems, Dr. Marwa Kedwani, Rapporteur of the National Council for Women in Assiut, and Dr. Abdullah Faisal, Director of the Civil Society Support Center at the university.
- The forum's activities include holding an exhibition of “rural women's products” in the lobby of the administrative building of Assiut University. The forum also reviews the models of small projects for productive rural women in Assiut, including the model of the rural women's project for the village of Arab Al-Kalabat, the model of the Tahwisha project, the model of my future project, the model of the Bab Amal project, and the model of the Ruya project, adding that the forum includes training (3) groups of women from villages in the centers of Assiut Governorate on how to manage small projects from home.
