The Council of the Faculty of Arts approves the updating project of the list of graduate studies and converting it to the credit hours system 

The board unanimously praises the achievements of the college during the recent period 
  
Under the supervision of Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University; the Council of the Faculty of Arts held its monthly meeting, chaired by prof. Ahmed Abdul-Mawla, vice-president for education and Student Affairs and supervisor of the Faculty of Arts, and in the presence of Dr. Khaled Salama, vice-dean for education and Student Affairs, Dr. Hamid Mashhour, vice-dean for community service and Environmental Development, Dr. Sameh al-Banna, vice-dean for graduate studies and research, and heads of departments; to discuss the adoption of the list of Graduate Studies at the college, and a number of topics related to the educational process, academic, research, undergraduate and graduate besides discussing some administrative and service topics.

  In this context, Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, stressed the continued development and development of many programs, study regulations and professional diplomas at Assiut University, the establishment and development of a number of study programs that keep pace with future jobs, in addition to renewing examination methods and strategies, pointing to the University's full support for researchers, providing the appropriate environment for scientific research and innovation, focusing on areas of local and global interest and within the scope of humanitarian need and social advancement, praising the organizational procedures adopted by the Faculty of Arts, to upgrade the educational and research process system.

Prof. Ahmed abdel Mawla explained that the meeting included the approval of the Faculty of Arts Council on the project of updating the list of graduate studies for the Departments of the college, and converting it to the credit hours system, within the framework of the implementation of the strategic plan of the University, and completing the procedures for accreditation by the Council of Graduate Studies at the university, then the University Council, and then the sector committees. 

 Dr. Ahmed Abdel Mawla, vice president of the University for education and Student Affairs and supervisor of the Faculty of Arts, stressed that the development of the Graduate Studies list at the Faculty aims to encourage innovative research in all disciplines of the humanities, keep pace with national challenges, achieve comprehensive community development, and contribute to finding scientific solutions to societal and global problems.

   The College Council unanimously praised the achievements of the college during the recent period, and the comprehensive development it has witnessed, represented in raising the efficiency of facilities, infrastructure, and a complete change of the college floors, pouring them with friction-resistant concrete (helicopter), and printed; to determine the locations of entrances and movement paths inside the College; in a manner that takes into account standards, environmental requirements, and preserves the antiquity of the building, and its history; a new Hall was opened for faculty members; capacity (40) an office.

  The council also approved the granting of Master's and doctoral degrees to researchers in various departments of the college, and the acceptance of supervision committees for Master's and doctoral theses in the Departments of the college, and the council approved the examination controls for the academic year 2024/2025 in accordance with the directives of the Supreme Council of universities, and the University Council.
