Assiut University organized a training forum entitled "skills of preparing and writing administrative reports", which will continue throughout Sunday and Monday at the museum hall in the administrative building of the university, under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of the University, and under the supervision of Mr. Shawkat Saber, secretary general of the University.
The forum comes within the framework of the University's continuous efforts to develop administrative performance and raise the efficiency of employees in various sectors, through the organization of specialized training courses،
In this context, Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of the university, stated that the organization of this forum comes out of Assiut University's keenness to develop its administrative work system by investing in the human element and raising the efficiency of workers in various sectors.
He explained that enhancing the skills of employees in the preparation and drafting of reports and administrative correspondence is one of the most important pillars on which any institution relies in improving administrative performance and ensuring the quality of work, stressing that administrative reports are not just documents but vital tools for decision-making and information transfer accurately and professionally, adding that the university pays great attention to providing such specialized training programs, which aims to hone the skills of employees and develop their abilities, thus contributing to the creation of a sophisticated administrative work environment, able to meet the requirements of development and modernization, and achieve the best levels of efficiency in institutional performance.
The forum was attended by Mr. Osama Al-Sayed, assistant secretary of the University, Mr. Abdulkader Mahran, head of the Central Department of human resources, and Mr. Khaled Omran, Director General of talent management and development, in addition to the participation of about 60 trainees from department managers in various sectors of the University.
In his speech, Mr. Shaukat saber explained the importance of the forum, stressing that administrative reports represent one of the most prominent tools of communication and decision-making within institutions, which necessitates the need for administrative staff to know the skills of preparing and drafting them scientifically and accurately, to ensure the accuracy of information exchange, the integrity of procedures and achieving the goals of the institution with maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
The forum is attended by Dr. Atiya Abdulkader and Dr. Muhammad Ali Sadiq, teachers at the Department of Business Administration at the Faculty of Commerce, where the training axes deal with several topics, including: the importance of administrative writing and its style, the components of administrative writing (horizon, tact, familiarity with systems and procedures, knowledge of the forms, parts and types of administrative writing), the stages of administrative writing (preparation, editing, production), the skills of preparing and drafting administrative correspondence (letters and memos), the definition and importance of reports, preparation and drafting skills, preparation and drafting skills minutes of meetings and Sessions, writing administrative decisions and publications, the role of administrative writing in simplifying work procedures within organizations.
