Prof. Dr. Maha Kamel Ghanem, Vice President for Environmental Affairs and Community Service, paid an extensive visit to the Faculty of Arts, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Thabet Abdel Moneim, Director of the Center for Environmental Studies, on the sidelines of the proceedings of the celebration of "Assiut University and our Green Future", as well as the celebrations of the Egyptian state at the International Climate Conference COP27 in its twenty-seventh edition under the slogan "Implementation Summit" in the presence of nearly 791 countries, which was held in Sharm El-Sheikh from 6 to 81 November 2022.
Her Excellency was received by Prof. Dr. Magdy Alwan, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Prof. Dr. Hamed Mashhour, Vice Dean for Environmental Affairs and Community Service, Prof. Dr. Khaled Salama, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abu Rehab, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Sameh Al-Banna, Head of the Department of Archeology, Prof. Dr. Noha Abdel Aziz, Head of the French Language Department, Ms. Sahar Mohamed, Secretary General of the Faculty, and a group of faculty members at the Faculty.
Her Excellency was keen to make an inspection tour of the college to follow up on the developments and environmental interest in the college and planted a tree
Yasmine Al-Hindi is of the distinguished type, emphasizing the importance and value of green spaces for the environment and the health of students, and during the visit, she praised all the work and developments attached to the college during the era of Dr. Magdy Alwan, Dean of the Faculty, and stressed her strong support for the Faculty as an incubator of science and diverse cultures, and that her visit to the College is a source of joy for her and all university leaders.
