Assiut University organizes a forum entitled "Human Development and self-development" for employees of the administrative apparatus
Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, stressed the University's keenness to develop the capabilities of administrative staff and develop their skills in a way that enhances the efficiency of institutional performance and contributes to achieving the goals of administrative excellence, pointing out that investing in the human element is one of the basic pillars to achieve sustainable development, and in line with the vision of the state towards building a modern and effective administrative apparatus that keeps pace with the requirements of the Times.
In this context, Assiut University organized, on Sunday, June 15, a forum entitled "Human Development and self-development" for employees of the administrative apparatus, under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of the University, in confirmation of the University's keenness to invest in the human element and the development of administrative cadres, in order to enhance the efficiency of institutional performance and contribute to achieving administrative excellence.
The forum was held at the museum hall in the administrative building of the university, under the supervision of Mr. Shawkat saber, secretary general of the University, Mr. Osama Al-Sayed, assistant secretary general of the University, Mr. Abdulkader Mahran, head of the Central Department of human resources, and Mr. Khaled Omran, Director General of talent management and development, with the participation of about 60 trainees from various sectors of the University.
Mr. Shawkat saber, secretary general of Assiut University, stressed that talent management and development is one of the vital departments at the university, because of its effective role in developing the human element and upgrading the skills of employees, pointing out the importance of continuing such forums and training courses that enhance the efficiency of the administrative apparatus, and support its capabilities in the areas of effective communication, self-development, and achieving excellence in performing job tasks, wishing the participants to make the most of the training program and come up with a fruitful cognitive and professional experience.
The forum will be held on June 15 and 16, and includes a number of important topics, most notably: self-identification, personal and professional skills development, self-esteem and self-motivation, and how to build self-confidence, in a session presented by Dr. Nesma Esmat Mohammed, a teacher at the psychology department at the Faculty of Arts. The forum will also address topics related to managing personal change, dealing effectively with life changes, and increasing self-confidence to face challenges, through a lecture by Dr. Mohammed Mustafa Hamad, professor of pedagogy and Educational Planning at the College of Education.
