- Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, President of Assiut University, said that the inclusion of the Journal of the Faculty of Education - Assiut University in the international database (DOAJ) for open access journals (DIRECTORY OF OPEN ACCESS JOURNALS) confirms Assiut University's keenness to double scientific publishing to upgrade the research system to improve the international indicators in the global rankings of universities.
- The President of Assiut University pointed out that the university attaches great importance to scientific research in light of the world's trend towards an economy based on science and knowledge, in addition to its contribution to improve the university's ranking in all international rankings, which witnessed a great leap during the past period in terms of great progress, whether at the general level or specializations, in which the university succeeded in occupying a prominent position among the ancient universities.
- Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy congratulated the authors of the magazine, stressing that this success is a new achievement and represents the scientific and research progress witnessed by the university, and reflects the extent of its interest in scientific publishing, which contributes to expanding the base of the university's distinguished scientific presence in prestigious academic circles.
- For his part, Dr. Hassan Huwail, Dean of the College of Education, explained that the journal is issued by the Center for Scientific Publishing and Research Excellence at the College of Education, under the supervision of Dr. Jamal Hassan Al-Sayed, Vice Dean of the College of Education: Dr. Jamal Hassan Al-Sayed, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs; pointing out that the journal's accession to DOAJ shows its commitment to recognized international publishing rules and strict scientific standards, as the journal was accepted after a careful evaluation of the quality of its content; pointing out that researchers and academics will be able to access the research of the Faculty of Education Journal.
- It is worth mentioning that DOAJ is the largest global database for indexing scientific journals after SCOPUS and Web of Science, contains strict criteria for evaluating scientific journals, and provides high-quality scientific content to ensure adherence to the best practices of scientific publishing, and DOAJ is supported by the largest database companies in the world, such as EBSCO, Sage, Willey and ProQuest: EBSCO, Elsevier, Sage, Willey, ProQuest, and includes (21) thousand and (257) journals from (136) countries and includes (89) languages.
