The Union of Arab universities announced the selection of Professor Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, as a member of the board of Directors of the Arab Council for Sustainable Development. This award is in recognition of his outstanding academic and research contributions.
This decision is a confirmation of the prestigious position Dr. El-Minshawy enjoys in the Arab academic community, as Assiut University is the only one of the Egyptian universities in this council, reflecting the University's prominent role at the regional and international levels.
Dr. El-Minshawy's joining the board of Directors of the Arab Council for Sustainable Development is a strategic step aimed at enhancing cooperation between Arab universities in the field of sustainable development, through the exchange of experiences and knowledge between major academic institutions. The new composition of the board of Directors of the Arab Council for Sustainable Development is a reflection of the geographical and specialized diversity in the Arab world, and brings together university presidents from different Arab countries, which enhances the council's ability to provide innovative solutions to development challenges in the region.
