 - The University Council commends the victory of the Faculty of Education students in the first place in the volleyball quadrils (students) at the fourth sports festival for student families. 
- Approval of the Post-Graduate Regulation of the Faculty of Arts of the University.

- The University Council, chaired by Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, the President of the University, its monthly meeting on Wednesday, February 26th, in the presence of the Vice-Presidents, the Deans of the College, and the Secretary-General of the University, to discuss a number of subjects relating to the educational, research and service process. 

- At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. El-Minshawy congratulated His Excellency President Sisi and the Islamic Ummah on the occasion of the Ramadanof the generous month, the month of goodness and the blessing, and the goodness of Allah. 
- Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy thanked the members of the University Council, the faculty and the administrators for the sincere efforts made, which contributed significantly to the commitment to the educational process, and  the achievement, activities and events at Assiut University in various fields. 

The president of Assiut University valued the remarkable achievements, activities and events that have been carried out during the past period, looking forward to optimism for what will be given in the future, especially in the light of the UNU plan through which it seeks to strengthen its position at the local and international levels, for the benefit of society as a whole, thanking and appreciating continued cooperation, wishing everyone success in their tasks. Dr. El- Minshawy directed the deans of the various colleges and institutes of the University to prepare a new, urgent five-year plan for the recruitment of repeaters in accordance with the model adopted by management and administration, from the academic year 2024/2025 to 2028/2029, in accordance with precise criteria, based on actual needs, to establish the values of justice and equality of all. 

- The Council reviewed the most prominent activities and events of February, including: the opening of the Bachelor of Science and Education Programme Students' Exhibition at the University, the organization of the Forum of Leaders of the New Universities of the Republic 2023 with the participation of 26 government universities, in particular, national , private universities, the organization of the Seventh International Conference of the Nursing School on the Future of Nursing in the light of recent technological developments, the organization of the Second International Conference on Biology on Innovative Biology for a Sustainable Future, the organization of the Second Conference on Applied Molecular Biology at Assiut University with the participation of 286 researchers from inside and outside Egypt, the holding of an awareness-raising symposium on the role of the National Communications Regulatory System in promoting awareness and security of cybersecurity, and the observance of the graduation of the 58th of the Medical School. 

The University Council commended Dr. El-Minshawy for honoring members of the Central Committee for Scientific Research Ethics at Asyut University for her achievements in strengthening ethical standards in all research procedures. 

- The Council also congratulated the students of the Faculty of Education for winning first place in the volleyball squadrons at the fourth sports festival for student families at Kafr El-Sheikh University. 

The Council commended for the participation of Dr. El- Minshawy in the interactive session in conjunction with the launching of the National Sustainable Innovation Policy within the National Higher Education Strategy. 

The Council extends its sincere congratulations to the administrative organ of the University for its success in obtaining the ISO 9001:2015 certificate for the tenth consecutive year. 
- The Council of the University also commended the reception of the Dutch delegation participating in the workshop on the treatment of cracked steel and neuro-deliver in children, within the framework of joint academic cooperation. 

- The Council approved the Graduate Regulation of the University faculty of Arts after the required amendments. 

- The Board also agreed to increase the physical correspondence of the exam work, beginning with the academic year 2024/2025, for the intensive bachelor programme in nursing. 

- The Council approved the appointment of a number of professors, associate professors, lecturers at various colleges, and the adoption of regulations governing the educational process of colleges.
