Assiut University launches a medical convoy to the village of Arab Mutair-Al-Fath, in the specialty of Dentistry 

Prof. El-Minshawy: a wide community contribution from Assiut University and active participation in the Presidential Initiative "Bidaya" to support the efforts of the state 

President of Assiut University: the convoy provides medical examination and therapeutic procedures at the University Dental Hospital

Assiut University has launched a medical convoy in the field of dentistry to the village of Arab Mateer - Al-Fath, within the framework of the Presidential Initiative "Bidaya", which comes under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, president of the Republic.

The convoy included providing therapeutic and awareness services for more than( 100) cases in the field of Dentistry, in addition to transferring some cases that require capabilities and certain therapeutic procedures to the University Dental Hospital.
Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, stressed that the university continues to launch comprehensive development convoys to the impoverished areas in the governorate, within the framework of activating its service and development role towards the community and harnessing all its potential to contribute to the provision of health services free of charge, in light of the University's Integrated Medical City, with specialized hospitals, and an elite of distinguished professors in all specialties, which serve all its visitors from the governorates of Upper Egypt.

For his part, Dr. Mahmoud Abdul Alim, vice president of the University for community service and environmental development, said that the convoy is organized by the community service and environmental development sector at the Faculty of Dentistry in cooperation with the General Directorate of Dentistry at the Directorate of Health in Assiut, noting that a medical convoy will be launched on December 17 at the family medicine unit in Tassa - Sahel slim. 

The convoy came under the supervision and presence of: Dr. Safa Tohami, dean of the College, Dr. Mohammed Nahed, vice dean for community service and Environmental Development, Dr. Amal Kamal Hefni, director general of the General Directorate of Dentistry, and Dr. Ahmed Mustafa, director of preventive dentistry department.

The convoy was attended by: Dr. Ahmed Yasser at the prosthetic replacement Department, Dr. Justina Ashraf at the conservative treatment Department, Dr. Ahmed Mohsen Hassanein specializing in oral and maxillofacial surgery, Dr. Mina Youssef at the pediatric dentistry department, Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Abdul Razek at the orthodontics department, Dr. Mohammed Fawzi at the root therapy department, Dr. Asma Barakat at the oral and maxillofacial radiology department, and student Waad Haidar in the second class.
