Vice president of Assiut University follows up the progress of aptitude tests at the faculties of Fine Arts and sports sciences

Within the framework of the directives of Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, on following up on the regularity of aptitude tests for high school students, Dr. Ahmed Abdul-Mawla, vice president for education and student affairs, conducted two field visits to the faculties of Fine Arts and sports sciences to follow up on the progress of the tests and the extent of compliance with the approved organization and procedures.

Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy stressed the need to fully comply with the instructions and controls set by the Higher Committee for aptitude tests at the Supreme Council of universities, pointing out that the number of applicants for the tests of the faculties of Arts and architecture has reached 236 students, while the number of applicants for the tests of the Faculty of Sports Sciences has reached 1700 students so far, stressing the importance of providing a suitable and safe environment to perform exams with ease and full support for students, wishing them success and success.

During his tour at the College of Fine Arts, Dr. Ahmed Abdulmawla was accompanied by Dr. Mohammed Helmy Al-Hefnawi, dean of the College, Dr. Mohammed Abdul Hakim, vice dean for education and Student Affairs, Mr. Mukhlas Farouk Ayad, Secretary of the college, and a number of faculty members and staff, where the examination committees inspect and check on their progress in accordance with the organized procedures.

He was received by Dr. Emad Samir, dean of the College, Dr. Yasser Hassan, vice dean for education and Student Affairs, and Mr. Hamdi Adawi, Secretary of the college, along with a number of faculty members, where he followed the progress of the tests and praised the good organization and preparations underway within the college.

In a statement, Dr. Ahmed Abdulmoula stressed the regularity of student reception procedures, and reviewing the required documents accurately, to ensure the provision of a distinguished service to new students, explaining that aptitude tests are an important tool for selecting academically and practically qualified students to enroll in specialties that require special skills, thus contributing to supporting their university career.

For his side, Dr. Mohammed Helmy Al-Hefnawi stressed the commitment of the Faculty of Fine Arts to apply the controls and standards specified by the Supreme Council of universities to ensure transparency and accuracy in the evaluation, explaining that the number of applicants for aptitude tests reached 236 students, including 81 students from the Scientific Division (sport) to perform architecture tests, and 155 students from the scientific and literary divisions to perform art tests eligible to join the Departments of sculpture, photography, decoration and graphics.

In a related context, Dr. Emad Samir explained that the tests of the Faculty of Sports Sciences include medical examination and measurements of height, weight and strength, before dividing the students into two tracks: the first is the skill track of sports champions with advanced positions, and the second is the physical track, which includes six main tests: running for 100 meters, running for 800 meters, stretching the ankle, wide jump of stability, flexibility test, agility test, in addition to the body Test (personal test).
