Assiut University announces the start of applications for the US Embassy Scholarship for working women in STEM fields

Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, Acting President of Assiut University, announced the start of applying for the US Embassy scholarship for working women who have full-time professional experience in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). This scholarship indicates the cooperation of the university with various institutions, local and international, to enhance the university’s research and professional skills. He also added that the university supports women in various fields of education and scientific research.
Dr. Gamal Badr, Coordinator of the Office of International Relations, explained that one of the conditions for applying for these grants is that the applicant must be an Egyptian and not hold American citizenship or obtain an immigration visa to the United States of America within five years, and that she must have a visitor visa (J_1). He added that she must be fluent in spoken and written English, as well as have a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
