Assiut University President Meets with his Chilean Counterpart to Sign a Memorandum of Collaboration between both Universities

In the presence of Dr. Gamal Abdel Raouf Badr, Coordinator of the Office of International Relations and Vice Dean of the College of Science for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Dr. Mohamed Abdel Sattar Swaify, Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering, College of Engineering, Prof. Ahmed El Minshawy, President of Assiut University, announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with Dr. Jose Rodriguez, President of San Sebastian University in Chile.

Prof. Ahmed El Minshawy stated that the memorandum of understanding signed today at the University of San Sebastian affirms the university's scientific and cultural openness with all scientific institutions and major universities in various parts of the world, east and west, and the university administration's eagerness to provide all means of support and integrated care for its international students, whether at the undergraduate or graduate level.

Dr. Jamal Badr, for his part, stated that the agreement's term is five years, renewable, and that its provisions call for the exchange of research bodies, researchers, graduate students, and university students, as well as the exchange of academic materials in areas of mutual interest between the two universities.
