President of Assiut University: The online booking service saves time and effort and reduces waiting periods at outpatient clinics.

As part of ongoing efforts to enhance medical services and facilitate patient access to healthcare, Dr. El-Minshawy has announced the launch of an online appointment booking service for outpatient clinics at the Emergency and Trauma Hospital, Assiut University. The service will be available starting Sunday, March 2.

This initiative aims to save time and effort for patients by allowing them to schedule appointments via the hospital’s official website. By reducing overcrowding, it enhances the overall patient experience in the clinics. The service is being implemented under the supervision of Dr. Alaa Attia – Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board, and Dr. Mohamed Abdel Hamid – Director of the Emergency and Trauma Hospital.

The President of Assiut University emphasized that the online booking service at the Emergency and Trauma Hospital is a significant addition that strengthens communication between patients and the hospital while improving operational efficiency. Patients can book their appointments anytime and from anywhere without the need to call or visit the clinic in person. Moreover, the service reduces waiting times, enhancing patient comfort and making access to medical care more convenient.

Dr. El-Minshawy confirmed that this advancement aligns with the hospital’s ongoing efforts to integrate technology into healthcare services, ensuring faster and more efficient medical care. He reaffirmed the hospital’s commitment to providing the highest standards of patient care.
