Assiut University holds a coordination meeting with the Decent Life Foundation to enhance cooperation in medical convoys and serve the most needy communities

 

Assiut University held a coordination meeting via Zoom technology with the "Decent Life" Foundation, with the aim of discussing mechanisms to enhance joint cooperation between the two sides in the field of medical convoys and the development of the most needy communities, within the framework of supporting the state's efforts to achieve sustainable development and improve the quality of life for citizens.

Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Alim, vice president for community service and environmental development, and Miss. Nadia Salim, coordinator of cooperation with the foundation, participated in the meeting from Assiut University, while Dr. Hala Salah, former dean of Qasr Al-Aini Medical College and medical adviser to the foundation, Dr. Mona Youssef, medical convoy officer, and Colonel Ahmed Galal, director of the foundation's office in Assiut Governorate, participated from the side of the generous Life Foundation.

In this context, Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy stressed that Assiut University pays great attention to its community and development role, and is keen on fruitful cooperation with the "Decent Life" Foundation and other state institutions in the implementation of medical convoys, as an effective way to reach the health service to villages and remote areas.
He pointed out that the University harnesses its human, medical and scientific potential in order to meet the needs of citizens, and this cooperation embodies a clear image of community solidarity, stressing the continued support from the University for such development initiatives that serve the Egyptian citizen in Upper Egypt.

In his speech during the meeting, Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Alim conveyed the greetings and appreciation of Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University, to the administrators of the "Decent Life" Foundation, praising the leading national role played by the foundation under the supervision that of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, to serve the nation's people in various governorates, especially in the most needy areas.

The meeting witnessed the discussion of a number of important axes, including the development of mechanisms for organizing convoys, geographical expansion to cover the largest number of villages, and ensuring the sustainability of field work, highlighting the efforts exerted by all partners.
