Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy, president of Assiut University and in charge of conducting the work of Assiut Al-Ahlia university, received the delegation of the Supreme Council of universities, which visited the University in order to follow up the educational process at the Faculty of administrative and financial Sciences.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Wael Al-Dajawi, deputy chairman of the board of Trustees of Assiut Al-ahliya University and former minister of higher education and scientific research, Dr. Ismail Sabry mekled, professor of political science, member of the board of Trustees of Assiut Al-Ahliya University and former dean of the Faculty of Commerce, and Dr. Noubi Mohammed Hassan, vice president of Assiut Al-Ahliya University for Academic Affairs.
The committee represented by the Supreme Council of universities included Dr. Yasser Mohammed Jadallah, professor of Economics and dean of the National Institute of intellectual property at Helwan University and rapporteur of the committee, Dr. Ahmed Samir Rushdi, professor of Business Administration at Sadat Academy of Administrative Sciences, and Dr. Mohammed Sameh Jamil, assistant professor of Business Administration at Sadat Academy of Administrative Sciences.
The meeting was also attended by Dr. Alaa Abdel Hafeez, dean of the Faculty of Commerce at Assiut University and supervisor of the Faculty of administrative and financial Sciences, and Dr. Ahmed Allam, director of programs of the Faculty of administrative and financial sciences at Assiut Al-Ahlia University.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Ahmed El-Minshawy stressed the keenness of the university administration to provide all means of support and care to the faculties of the private university and its students, pointing out that this Assiut private university offers a distinguished educational level academically and practically, and contributes to the availability of higher education to accommodate the increasing numbers of students and achieve advanced educational quality in various disciplines.
Dr. El-Minshawy explained that the private university, working under a joint cooperation protocol with Assiut University, aims to provide training opportunities for students and benefit from experiences and consultations in the fields of education and scientific research, which contributes to the development of the educational system positively.
For his part, Dr. Noubi Mohamed Hassan pointed out that the committee's visit aims to assess the college's capabilities and modern equipment, as well as review the educational services it provides, in order to determine the possibility of adding new study programs with the beginning of the academic year 2025/2026, to meet the aspirations of students and meet the requirements of the labor market locally and internationally.
In a related context, Dr. Alaa Abdel Hafiz explained that the current academic year 2024/2025 represents the third year since the start of study at the College, which offers the English language program and the Business Information Systems Program, and currently has about 800 students. He also pointed out that the next academic year will see the graduation of the first batch of college students.
It is worth mentioning that the committee members ' visit to Assiut University included a tour of a number of university units, including the Department of education and student affairs, the University theater, the medical clinic, and the Central Library.
