Prof. El-Minshawy checks the progress of work at Assiut State University in the new city of Assiut

Prof. El-Minshawy praises the new instruction of the faculty of early childhood education, which is equipped according to the latest educational systems

President of Assiut University: the goal of the new headquarters of Assiut State University is to include some of the University's faculties within a campus in New Assiut Prof. Ahmed El -Minshawy, president of Assiut University, inspected the progress of work on the project of the new instruction of the Faculty of early childhood education at the governmental University in the new city of Assiut; to find out the current situation in the finishes, equipment, and intensive efforts underway in the project, within the framework of the keenness of the university administration; on the continuous follow-up of major construction projects implemented on a specific schedule; to serve the educational process system, and within the University strategy 2024-2029, and the national strategy for higher education; to achieve sustainable development goals, and provide a quality, distinguished education for students.

  During his tour, prof. El-Minshawy listened to a presentation from the project's engineers about the latest developments, as it is nearing completion of various aspects of the concrete works, and work is underway to complete the final finishing works, as it comes within the plan of Assiut State University to establish a new urban instruction to be an extension of the University in the new city of Assiut, which includes the construction of new headquarters for some of the University's existing faculties located outside the campus.

Prof. El-Minshawy explained that the new headquarters is located on an area of (7000) meters, and consists of a basement, a ground, and (3) recurring roles, including the administrative structure, the senior administration of the college, classrooms, offices for faculty members, and stands for students with a capacity of (300) students, equipped according to the latest educational systems, and the necessary capabilities to keep pace with global progress, in addition to classrooms that suit various educational purposes.

Prof. Ahmed El-Minshawy explained the continuation of completing the remaining equipment works in the College of early childhood education's headquarters project in New Assiut, in light of the readiness of many internal and external works that have achieved significant completion rates, in addition to implementing the components of the information infrastructure and technical equipment according to the agreed specifications, which suit the functional and educational needs of the college.

 Prof. El-Minshawy directed to continue working, and finish all the remaining work on time, and with the highest required quality; in order for the headquarters to be handed over to the University for opening soon, in light of the University's strategic plan; to provide a stimulating scientific environment; to provide distinguished graduates with competitive ability to work, and expand the development of study programs; comply with the requirements of the local and international labor market, and fill the knowledge gap.

   During his inspection tour, Prof. El-Minshawy was accompanied by Dr. Mohammed Helmy Al-Hefnawi, engineering advisor to the president of the University, Dr. doib saber, legal advisor to the president of the University, engineer Mohammed Thabet, director general of engineering affairs, engineer Sawsan Ibrahim, Director General of construction, and engineer Ihab kreisha, director of university projects at Arab Contractors Company, in the presence of the existing engineers and supervisors of the project.
